It has Eri Silk in the warp and weft and all interwoven motif yarns are in Muga Spun Silk and Eri Silk . The Eri silk here has been natural dyed .
Both Eri Silk and Muga Silk is indigenous to the North East region of India , particularly to the State of Assam. Both Eri Silk and Muga Spun silk does not have the typical shine associated with silk . Hence the blouse piece has very subtle sheen .
Muga Spun Silk is produced from the waste of the Muga reeled yarns . It does not have the lustrous golden sheen and colour of the Muga filament / reeled yarns .
Length of the blouse - 1.10 meter . Width -39" . It looks best with plain Muga Silk Saree as shown in the images here .
