It has Modal in warp and mulberry silk in weft . All the extra weft motifs are in copper zari and cotton .

Modal is a manmade fibre made from wood pulps . It is soft and cool and ideal for summer wear .

Mulberry silk is locally known as Pat Silk . 

Mulberry silk and Modal blends beautifully and the set gives pure silk vibe .

The set is ideal for any formal occasion especially for daytime summer wear. The settings of the design and the colour scheme are traditional 

The Mekhla and Chador is a  traditional 2 piece dress from the North East State of Assam, India . The Mekhla is appx 45" length and 36" width when stitched . It is worn as a skirt over the petticoat .  The skirt  will have pleats when worn. The top part or 'chadar ' is a shawl or half -sari which is used to cover the upper portion of the body and is worn on top of the mekhla or wrap. The usual size is 3 Meters long and about 36 inches in width. 

Please note that there may be some difference in colours between the actual set and that in the image due to lighting issues and the presence of silks .
