Handloom Silk Saree from the looms of Assam, India.
The saree has Tassar silk in the warp and Mulberry Silk in the weft . Mulberry Silk is also known as Paat Silk in Assam. The motifs have been woven in acrylic and cotton.
The light golden colour is due to the presence of tassar silk which naturally comes in light golden brown to off white .
The design and colour schemes are very traditional and the saree can be worn in all kinds of occasions and functions.
It has a soft hand feel due to mulberry silk but also has slight crispness due to tassar silk presence . Easy and comfortable to wear and handle.
The Sari has a blouse piece of the same colour and with borders .
We try our level best to capture the exact colours but due to the presence of silk and lighting effects, there could be very minor difference between the actual colour from the image colour.
