It has fine mill spun natural soft brown Eri Silk yarns in the warp and in the weft and the interwoven motifs are in natural dyed and azo free chemical dyed yarns making this a hundred percent Eri Silk Saree.
Eri Silk is indigenous to the NE region of India , particularly to the state of Assam . Eri silk naturally comes in off white to soft brown colour. The natural brown cocoons are rarer and the resultant yarns are soft brown in colour . Muga Silk is naturally deep golden ,found only in the state of Assam . It is highly coveted due to it's natural golden lustre and longevity .
Eri silk typically does not possess bright sheen like other silk . It possess subtle sheen that is very unique to Eri silk . Here since we have used mill spun eri silk yarns , the saree has beautiful fall and very subtle lustre .
The Saree comes with a blouse piece that has the border similar to the border of the saree.
