It is long enough to be used as an dupatta with Indian Kurtis .
The shawl is handwoven in our looms in Assam . The warp and weft yarns are hundred percent cotton and the interwoven motifs are in Muga Ghicha silk .
Muga Ghicha silk is a very unique type of silk . Procured from the ruptured cocoons of the Muga Silk cocoons or from the initial or end waste of the non pierced cocoons . These are shorter in lengths , coarser in nature and do not possess the golden colour & lustre of the more finer and longer reeled yarns .
The blue colour of the shawl is natural Indigo dye .
