A genuine handloom Saree from our looms in Assam, India .
The saree has Modal yarns in the warp and Mulberry Silk Yarns in the weft . The interwoven motif yarns are in Eri Silk and cotton.
Modal is a man made cellulosic fibre that is breathable and absorbent fibre , is silky smooth to touch and also highly resistant to shrinkage and pilling . We have used Modal to make the saris more affordable and more all weather saris .
Modal blends well with silks like Mulberry , Eri or Tassar silks. . Here , the presence of raw mulberry silk in the weft gives a subtle crispness and sheen to the saree.
Woven in more contemporary design , the saree is very light , easy to carry and maintain.
The Saree has a contrast blouse piece as shown in the pics .
