Dark Purple Handloom Eri Silk Saree from our looms in Assam , India
It has fine mill spun Eri Silk yarns in the warp and fine Eri Silk yarns in the weft and the interwoven motifs are in Tassar Silk. This makes the saree a hundred percent Silk Saree .
Eri Silk is indigenous to the NE region of India . Eri silk naturally comes in off white to soft brown colour .
Eri silk typically does not possess bright sheen like other silk . It possess subtle sheen that is very unique to Eri silk . Here since we have used mill spun eri silk yarns , the saree has beautiful fall and very subtle lustre .
The Saree comes with a blouse piece that has the border similar to the border of the saree.
