Rusty Pink Mulberry Silk by Tassar silk Handloom saree from Assam

A genuine handloom product from the looms of Assam, India.

The Sari has mulberry silk in the warp and Tassar silk in the weft and the interweaving motifs in Cotton and acrylic

Tassar Silk is a variety of wild silk found in the central Indian states of Chattisgarh , Jharkhand and Orissa. The yarns naturally occurs in soft beige to light brown colours.

In this case , we have used dyed tassar silk yarns in the weft.

The tassar yarns gives the saree a crisp fall .

The sari is very soft , light and airy . And very easy to handle. It is very lightweight .

The Sari has a plain blouse piece with a border.

The blouse and accessory on the mannequin are for image purposes only.

We try to capture the exact colours but due to lighting issues , there may be slight difference of colour between the actual product and that of the image. The yellow colour is on the brighter side .
