Classy Handloom Eri Silk Saree from our looms in Assam , India .
It has fine mill spun natural soft brown Eri Silk yarns in the warp and weft and the interwoven motifs are in Ghicha silk and natural off white eri silk .
Eri Silk is indigenous to the NE region of India , particularly to the state of Assam . Eri silk naturally comes in off white to soft brown colour. The natural brown cocoons are rarer and the resultant yarns are soft brown in colour .
Eri silk typically does not possess bright sheen like other silk . It possess subtle sheen that is very unique to Eri silk . Here since we have used mill spun eri silk yarns , the saree has beautiful fall and very subtle lustre .
The Saree comes with a blouse piece that has the border similar to the border of the saree.
Please note that the actual colour of the saree may differ slightly than that in the image due to lighting issues and the presence of silks.
Please note that the tassels were not done at the time of shooting the pics . We will send the saree after full finish with tassels done.
