Hand Woven and Natural Indigo Dyed Cotton Yardage from Assam

The fabric is hand woven and has natural Indigo dyed cotton in the warp and weft. 

It has been woven by the women weavers on basic handloom . 

The cotton yarns have been sourced from west bengal which traditionally has been the source and hub of high count cottons in India. 

The Indigo dye used here is Assam Indigo extract . It is part of a process to revive Assam Indigo plantations and make it as an organic means of rural developments. 

The material is ideal for any dress , blouses , skirts , shirts etc

Please note that the colour of the actual material may slightly differ from that in the image due to lighting and photography issues. In this case , it is the same fabric that was shot under natural lights . One was shot via phone outside and the indoor ones were shot via dslr . 

Wash Care - Can hand wash . Wash separately as Indigo colour tends to run / bleed . 
Shade dry . Use mild detergent .
