The Mulberry silk yarns have been natural dyed with Manjistha dye and all motifs in golden zari and Muga Silk.
Mulberry Silk is known as 'Pat Silk' locally .
The Mekhla and Chador is a traditional 2 piece dress from the North East State of Assam, India . The Mekhla is appx 1.20 Mt in length and 37" width when stitched. The Warp will have pleats when worn. The top part or 'chadar ' is a shawl or half -sari which is used to cover the upper portion of the body and is worn on top of the mekhla or wrap. The usual size is 3 Meters long and about 37 inches in width.
The Set comes with mulberry 1 mt blouse pc .
We try to capture the exact colours but due to the presence of silks and lighting issues , there may be slight difference in colours of the actual product and that in the image .
Also , since it is natural dyed the yellow colour is not on the brighter side but on the duller side.
