Handloom Silk Saree from our looms in Assam , India .
The Saree has Mulberry Silk in the warp and weft and all the extra weft motifs are in cotton /acrylic .
Mulberry Silk is known as Pat silk locally . The Mulberry silk present in the weft is raw mulberry silk which is known as 'Kesa Pat ' in the region . It is the presence of raw silk that gives the organza / translucent effect .
The Saree is very light and easy to drape and carry.
The Saree has a blouse piece in the body colour of the saree with border as shown in the picture.
Please note that there can be slight difference in colours between the actual product and that in the image due to lighting issues and presence of silks .
