A hundred percent Eri Silk Wrap that can also be used as a Dupatta to complement your Indian Ethnic suits.

The motifs are woven in Ikat weave which is a resist dyeing technique .

Since Eri Silk is there, the stole / dupatta does not have the typical sheen that is associated with Silks from India. Both Muga Silk and Eri Silk are indigenous Silk varieties from India found in Assam and some other North Eastern States. Eri Silk is the original Assam Silk. The lack of sheen and slight coarseness/ dryness is typical of Eri Silks.

The Eri silk yarns used here are mill spun very fine yarns . Hence , it is very soft and has a soft lustrous sheen .

The Eri Yarns have been treated with special techniques to get the softer handle required for this product.

The shawl is soft and has a beautiful hand feel.

Eri Silk is easier to take care of than other more delicate silks like Mulberry Silks. The production of Eri Silk is still majorly an indigenous activity of the tribal people of the region.

Please note that there could be slight imperfections as these are handloom products.

Please note that there could be some difference in colours between the actual product and that of the image due to photography and lighting issues.

Please note that these shawls are ideal for only mild winters or indoor settings or as an accessory with other winter wear.
