It has mulberry spun silk in the warp and mulberry hand spun silk in the weft . Mulberry spun silk is derived from the cocoon wastes of mulberry and lacks the sheen associated with mulberry . It has subtle sheen . Mulberry hand spun is also known as Matka Silk .
The fabric is very soft and drapes very well. Has a wonderful drape and extremely lightweight as seen in the images . The fabric has gone through the process of calendaring ( pressing ) that has made the fabric softer.

Ideal for blouses , shirts , saris etc . It is great for eco printing , natural dyeing , block printing etc . Not ideal for items that require durability . It is a delicate fabric .
Wash Care - As a fabric , it can be hand washed . Wash separately . You can use shampoo or silk friendly detergent . Do not wring . Shade Dry . Normal press at silk settings .
