Eri Silk along with Muga Silk are indigenous to the NE region of India .
The Eri Silk used here is mill spun in the warp and hand spun in the weft . This blend of mill spun yarns and hand spun yarns produces a very unique texture .
The motif yarns are in Muga Ghicha yarns which are produced from the cocoon wastes of Muga silk cocoons .
The entire process in the production of this stole is manual .
