Handloom Silk Saree from the looms of Assam, India.
The saree has Tassar silk in the warp and Mulberry Silk weft . Mulberry Silk is also known as Paat Silk in Assam. The motifs have been woven in tested golden zari.
The light golden colour is due to the presence of tassar silk yarns in the warp which naturally comes in light golden brown to off white and we have used golden dyed mulberry silk yarns in the weft.
The design and colour schemes are very traditional and the saree is meant to be worn on festive occasions like marriage / engagements ceremony etc.
The Sari has a blouse piece of the same colour and with borders .
The Sari has the traditional motifs on the pallu and all over motifs woven in tested golden zari .
We try our level best to capture the exact colours but due to the presence of silk and lighting effects, there could be very minor difference between the actual colour from the image colour.
