This Sari has Mulberry Silk ( raw) and Cotton with the motifs in Eri gicha and Cotton
Gicha silk is made from the waste of the cocoons of wild / semi wild silks like Muga , Tassar and Eri by sorting the short fibres and hand reeling them into yarns.
Gicha yarns have a dry and rough texture . Very unique texture. Here the brown colours are in gicha yarns. The white motifs are in cotton.
The sari comes with a blouse piece in soft green and has a border.
