Tassar Silk - A wild variety of silk found mostly in the forest areas of Jharkhand , Chattisgarh & Orissa in India . Tassar silk yarn production is still a village activity & tribal activity providing means of employment to many women of these communities.

Natural Tassar comes in off whites to light golden shade depending upon many factors. In this case , the Tassar has been dyed wine colour.
